Oakley's BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, a popular Los Angeles skate spot where style and authenticity are ever-present, just like these glasses. The modernised temple of the BXTR Metal is inspired by Oakley's original Razor Blade sunglasses. The frame is made of metal and pays homage to the prototype of the first Oakley sunglasses, which were made from a lens and a wire coat hanger.
