Die Rückseite aus 1000-Denier-Cordura-Nylon, das sich durch hohe Festigkeit und Leichtigkeit auszeichnet, wird mit Polyester, dem so genannten X-Ply, verdrillt und in Schrägrichtung (diagonal zum Gewebe) angeordnet, so dass ein gewobenes Gewebe entsteht. Durch das Laminieren (Kräuseln) einer sehr dünnen Pet-Folie aus Polyestermaterial nach einem patentierten Herstellungsverfahren wird das Gewebe versiegelt und das Eindringen von Wasser wie Regen und Schweiß verhindert. Dieses Material ist sowohl langlebig als auch wasserdicht.
