Inga Sempé is a French designer who lives and works in Paris. Her works are known for their lightness, strong personality and special feel. The idea of everyday use is central to Sempé's approach, and she often looks for materials with special properties to meet the demands of a daily function.

Inga Sempé's cast-iron Fonte candleholder is inspired by the nails used in Japanese ikebana floral art, and features a raised design with protruding spikes on a raised base. The placement of the candles between the spikes allows for the creation of unique candle compositions that elegantly counterbalance the rugged aesthetic. Fonte is ideal as a centerpiece or on a windowsill in a variety of settings.
