In 2015, adidas launched a prototype shoe made from recycled plastic at the United Nations. This is adidas' first important step towards a more sustainable future. With this running shoe, adidas was inspired by this historic moment and celebrates the fifth anniversary of the collaboration with Parley. It comes with a seamless, knitted upper made from recycled plastic waste yarn that is collected on beaches and in coastal areas before it can enter the sea.This product was made with Parley Ocean Plastic.
