The founder of Adidas died on September 6, 1978. Adidas has been listed in the German Stock Index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 1995. Adidas has been headquartered in Herzogenaurach since the founding of the Group. Puma has its headquarters in the same town, only a few hundred meters away from Adidas.
