Making its mark on the culture for more than 50 years: the adidas Superstar is without a doubt an icon of sneaker culture and one of the most popular sneaker silhouettes ever.
In order to celebrate the anniversary of this cult sneaker, we talked to three creators who are on their way of becoming icons their own, about what the Superstar and “being original” mean for them. Although they are active in different artistic fields, there are two things they have in common: our homebase Hamburg and their special relation with the adidas Superstar.
Also known as 'the gate to the world’, Hamburg is a city that offers lots of room for cultural and artistic exchange: the perfect environment for our protagonists to find their own artistic style. Now, they all are following their own path – in Hamburg, London and Amsterdam.

Glaze: Graffiti artist and sneaker collector from Hamburg, making his mark throughout Hamburg for over 30 years.
