New bag alert! The new "Force Series" by Porter by Yoshida has hit our shop.
The Force Series comes with a military touch and a motif of coincidental color differences rarely seen on military items. The biggest feature is a slight color irregularity between a front pocket and a body, to create a look of various lots. Due to the dyeing process, there are some color differences for each lot. To avoid the color variety among parts, it is normal to make one product from a same lot. However, for military clothing and bags, some items are occasionally created with parts that have color differences. This series is made on purpose to express the coincidental color irregularity.
Industrial material is used for outer material, which is made of 210 denier 6 nylon high tenacity yarns. This material is usually used as a foundation material for rubber boats, etc. Therefore, unlike regular materials for clothing and bags, it is not produced to be dyed. But Porter dyed it on purpose to create unique shiny texture and vertical lines for a chuff impression and a further military touch. With an image of a military jacket lining, quilted ripstop nylon in orange (emergency color) is used for the lining. The bag has a look of nylon, but when you hold it, you will notice its lightness and softness of quilt. Each item of the series comes with a removable pocket that can be used as a pouch.
